Learn

Support
- Help the UWCM Foundation raise money to provide bursaries and scholarships for post-secondary education for women and girls and to support local women’s organizations.
Advocate
- Support CFUW in its special consultative status with the United Nations Social and Economic Council (ECOSOC)
- Become eligible to be a CFUW special consultative delegate at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
- Become eligible to be a delegate of the CFUW group attending the Graduate Women International (GWI) triennial.
- Collaborate with community organizations locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.
- Support actions that use a human-rights approach to prevent violence against women and girls.
- Submit briefs and letters to government bodies on topics related to women’s and girls’ education, safety and health.
- Develop educational tools, such as a Financial Literacy Kit, to promote lifelong learning.
- Review and proposing Resolutions to positively influence conditions of women and girls.
- Strengthen the power of women transforming the world together!

- Read and adhere to UWCM bylaws.
- Adhere to the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) rules, regulations and policies.
Fees
Annual fees are $265, due in January and can be payable in two installments.
