Show leadership. Give a donation. Make a difference.

The University Women’s Club of Montreal has a mission to promote the well-being of women in our community, and that role is nurtured by its foundation. Each year, the foundation trustees select several educational institutions and charitable organizations to receive grants from monies raised through its fundraising activities, which include an annual giving campaign and a special fundraising event each year.

Over the years, our club has been able to distribute some $265,000 to worthy causes. These include scholarships to women students at Concordia University, Dawson College’s Professional Theatre Program and Project Chance mothers returning to school. Lately, we have made donations to the Native Women’s Shelter, Auberge Shalom, Chez Doris and Auberge Madeleine. The fundraising goal for this year has been set at $12,000.
